No, however it all depends on the situation. We don’t typically take kids below 5 years old, but we evaluate every case and make recommendations for moving forward if we feel that there might be an issue.
It all depends on how quickly and correctly you learn the techniques. We’re not like some schools that just hands out the belts because they know the moves. Students must earn the belt.
That’s a great question! There are a lot of benefits in getting into martial arts, including, but certainly not limited to, increase in fitness, self-confidence, and self-respect, but most importantly we teach you how to effectively defend yourself.
Absolutely not! The tournaments are totally optional. But we will say that the tournaments are an excellent tool to show you how you rate amongst your peers at your level.
If you’re willing to train hard and put forth the effort, there should be no reason why you can’t win. Our students that compete train hard, and it shows.
